Our client, The Best of the U.S. Inc. is a research, publishing, and consulting firm that is dedicated to recognizing excellence in the U.S. The client needed to build a comprehensive online database of professionals as well as students, so that end users could search for the most competent professionals (or, best students) in their area.

Suntec used LAMP technology to engineer a site via which end users could search for the best and most succesful professionals as well as students in the US, using an advanced search facility (with several search parameters). End users have the capability to nominate professionals they thought deserved to be on the list, and professionals are given the option to update the listing on the web site.
Users also have the ability to buy items from an online store provided on the web site (which was designed using oscommerce).

that smoothly handles already millions and constantly increasing online
records.
We have used Advanced
AJAX (Asynchronous Javascript and XML) extensively in this web
application to display search results, record details, etc.
Suntec has been
using AJAX techniques as performance enhancement initiatives for
critical functionality of web-applications. Web usability guidelines
were strictly followed during development and the interface was made
easily navigable through judicious use of AJAX, CSS and HTML controls.
